Sue Stevens, BS, E-RYT, TCTSY, began practicing yoga several years ago and has personally experienced the transformational and healing powers of yoga. Sue specializes in yoga classes and workshops that emphasize emotional healing from trauma and grief.
Sue is highly experienced teaching yoga to adults in group and private classes, children in school programs, active duty military and veterans, teens and adults in therapeutic settings, and bereavement support group settings. Additionally, she provides professional development for groups who want to incorporate yoga and mindfulness techniques into their workplace.
Sue has trained extensively in numerous types of yoga healing methodologies. She is certified as a Trauma Sensitive Yoga Facilitator trained by the world renowned Trauma Center in Brookline, MA. Additionally, she has completed the Umass Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program and is a trainer for Yoga Warriors International. More information can be found at
