Yoga has been a blessing to me. It came to me at a time when I was dealing with a lot of physical and emotional stress. I have been overweight my entire life and about 12yrs ago after the birth of my second child, I knew I needed to make a change for myself and also be there for my children. After losing about 100 lbs in 2009, my body went through a lot of physical stress and going through school and raising two little ones, it took a toll on me emotionally. That’s when I resorted to yoga to restore some of that Qi that I had lost. Yoga combined with a daily meditation practice helped me bring balance to both my mind and body. Around the same time, I discovered the amazing science of Ayurveda which was the missing piece of the puzzle. Know my imbalances, I used Ayurvedic guidelines of daily routines and diet to bring balance on a “ wholistic” level. Through my personal transformational journey, I knew that this was my path to share my healing with others and pay it forward.
