Your journey starts here with Susan Vigh, also known by her spiritual name, Hari Manit Kaur. Susan has had a lifelong interest in fitness and nutrition and was introduced to yoga in 1978 at a local YWCA. During the early 80’s, Susan moved north with her family, homesteading on a 55 acre plot of land in the northern Ontario wilderness. She continued her pursuit in the fitness field, certifying as an aerobics and aqua fitness instructor, incorporating yoga into her fitness programs. After returning to southern Ontario, deeply impacted by a series of life events, in 2002, Susan's yoga journey led her to immersion in the study and practice of yoga and her practice evolved from a merely physical experience to a deeply transformational personal awakening as she discovered the serenity, healing and life balance that yoga offers.
Susan has studied classical hatha yoga under Ananda Shakti Saraswati (Xenia Splawinski), graduating from the 500 hour Sananda Devi Yoga Teacher Training Program. In addition, Susan is a Kundalini Yoga Teacher having studied under Sat Dharam Kaur, ND, receiving certification from the KRI Level 1 International Teacher Training Program which is internationally recognized with 3HO and IKYTA and is a RYT with the Yoga Alliance. It is Susan’s desire to guide her students to a feeling of well being and encourages them to recognize that each moment of their lives is an opportunity for transformation and growth.
Always learning, Susan’s relationship with yoga continues to grow, shape, challenge and inspire her as she continues her study and practice of yoga and energy work through workshops, courses, teacher trainings and retreats.
