After a brief career in international organisations, I began teaching yoga in Brussels in 1998, and qualified as a yoga therapist through the Yoga Biomedical Trust (London) and with Mukunda Stiles in 2007. I have studying various approaches to yoga since 1985, and regularly learn from teachers in India, Europe, the US and Canada. Most of my work involves individualised yoga or mindfulness-based therapy, using Ayurvedic, Yogic and Buddhist principles to support treatment.

Life's challenges present opportunities for personal and spiritual growth, and serve as signposts on the path to awakening. Hatha yoga, nada (healing sound) yoga, pranayama (breath work) and meditation practice is healing, empowering and inspiring. Suggested routines and diet plans follow Ayurvedic principles. It's deeply satisfying to watch people tap into their potential and discover and transform themselves through ancient wisdom teachings.

My 18 years of developing a personal mindfulness practice provide tools and support both in my therapy work and as a parent. I have especially been blessed to spend 3-4 weeks a year on retreat with Thich Nhât Hanh, since 2008.

My yoga therapy practice includes clients dealing with emotional and physical health issues, such as back problems, chronic pain, high blood pressure, multiple sclerosis, fibromyalgia, Crohn's disease, breast cancer, anxiety and depression.

I also offer evolutionary astrology sessions as a way to understand one's life purpose and to deepen self-awareness.

Individual sessions can involve any of the above tools, including spiritual guidance.

My book, Teaching Yoga in an Upside-Down World: How to stay on the path when society goes off the rails, was published in April 2019 and is available on Amazon and Kobo.

My roots are in Toronto, and since 1991 I've been in Brussels, where I live with my daughter and son (when they aren't away at university), and Metta, our Yorkshire Terrier.
