I have been practicing yoga for most of my adult life. Following a very painful bereavement I decided to re-think my life and took up 500 hr yoga teacher training with Vajrasati Teacher Jim Tarran - inspired by Iyenga and Hatha yoga really concentrating on the 8 fold path of Patanjali and mind, body, spirit with everything flowing from the breath in order to find space in which to move. Recently moving towards restorative yoga and a slower pace which actually has increased my flexibility and core strength. I have trained in 30 hr course for restorative yoga with Judith Lassiter and since completing my case studies am now a Relax and Renew teacher. I have now completed a further 30 hr advanced restorative course again with Judith Lassier. Recently I have began to start teaching chair yoga and working with physiotherapists to help people who have had a stroke or fall to regain their confidence.
