Yoga is the practice I turn to when I need to be reminded of who I am. I was first inspired by yoga over twenty years ago in Las Vegas, NV., when a good friend invited me to a class. I soon began immersing myself in the practice by attending multiple trainings, workshops, conferences, and studying under several well known teachers. After moving to a small community in the mountains of Colorado, I opened a yoga studio (The Gunnison Sanctuary) with two other ladies (Leia Morrison and Sherrill Stinson). Eventually I was hired by the University of Western State College to teach yoga credit courses for their students. After moving to Colorado Springs, I now teach at SunWater Spa, the YMCA, and VASA. My classes, workshops, and retreats are eclectic and physically challenging but always welcoming and encouraging. After participating in Becca Roodhuyzen's advanced teacher training, I now teach more of the universal alignment principles in my classes. Most importantly, I hope to help people discover the benefits spiritually, physically, and emotionally of a consistent yoga practice.
