Engrossed in a daily life of being chained to the desires of greed, power, relationships, and control, my mind, body, and soul quivered for relief from the stresses. In 2010, I discovered the grace of a devoted yoga practice at the suggestion of a psychologist and shortly thereafter external compulsions and fears slowly faded away as I began to find my true self. My life became enriched beyond expectations as I embraced the holistic approach to health and well-being.
My classes reflect my personality and are filled with dynamic spirited movements building strength and flexibility. A Raja Yoga trained teacher I encourage students to develop an awareness of their own energetic rhythm to cultivate an overall sense of well-being, acceptance, and freedom. I sprinkle my instruction with self-reflection to awaken a student’s authentic individuality and create a deep sense of personal peace. My classes aspire to offer students a safe haven for informative and deeply therapeutic exploration. I am honored to be a witness to a student’s transformation as they begin to trust the harmony of their life path.
I graduated from the Joyful Yoga & Ayurveda Spa Transformational Teacher Training program and cultivate a dedicated respect for the practice of Ayurveda, Meditation, Asana, and Pranayama along with an affinity for the Sanskrit language.
I am an outdoor nature enthusiast and along with my husband, Fred, enjoy traveling the world listening, tasting, learning and gathering threads of inspiration to weave into my practice and teachings. I am humbly grateful to the Joyful Yoga community for creating an inviting space in which individuals may explore their spirituality and physicality, and to the children of Youth Haven who invite me to share with them this ancient art form. It is with respect, love, compassion, and humility that I take the seat of teacher.
