I teach a gentle class that includes variations to accommodate different levels of ability and experience. My currents students range from age 12 to 86, with everything in between. Some are young and healthy (or even pregnant), but many have replaced or aching joints. I include both stationary poses and stretches, and gentle flow sequences. My classes are meditative in flavor, and I integrate a few exercises from Tai Chi, Aikido, and dance. I emphasize practicing safely, and have attained additional knowledge of anatomy and health from my massage and Ayurvedic practices.
