Sylvia has practiced yoga and meditation for almost 40 years. After completing yoga teacher training, she began her formal yoga teaching in the fall of 2005. She is registered with Yoga Alliance (the international registry for yoga teachers) with the designation of E-RYT 500 --Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher with over 1000 hours of training and over 4000 hours of teaching experience. Sylvia was trained by several internationally acclaimed teachers at leading centers in the United States. Because of her personal interest and experience and because of her breath of teaching, Sylvia's main areas of concentration are Mindfulness-Kripalu Style Yoga, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction & Strategies for Good Posture and Strong Bones with much attention given to good alignment. She offers group and private yoga classes, therapy classes, and stress reduction classes.
E-RYT 500, Yoga Alliance: certified Registered Yoga Teacher. Sylvia has over 1000 hours of training and over 5000 hours of yoga teaching experience.
