Tamara offers a yoga practice that is fluid and smooth, yet powerful and challenging. It will bring movement and balance to the Pranas (vital energy) in your body in order to access the tranquility and inner stillness inherent of our core being. Her classes are an invitation to dance, explore, breathe and know yourself. She will inspire you tap into your sense of self-love by honoring and accepting yourself just the way you are today.

Tamara’s unique Yoga style has been influenced by many schools and teachers over 20 years of her Yoga career. It all began with Ashtanga Yoga at age 18 in Cali, Colombia. She practiced diligently the primary series of Ashtanga Yoga for many years until she came to California in 2005. There she blossomed within the thriving yoga communities and near great teachers in the San Fransisco Bay area. She found Anusara Yoga and was blown away by its detailed focus on body biomechanics, the universal principles of alignment and inspiration from Shaiva Tantra philosophy. She spent many hours of practice integrating the principles of Anusara and finally launched herself to become a teacher in 2010. More recently, she stepped into the dance, freedom and creative flow of Vinyasa Yoga.

Tamara has been a dedicated yoga practitioner for the last 20 years. Yoga has shaped her life and the way she cares for her body, bringing mindfulness, loving attention and joy to her every day actions. Tamara is very passionate about sharing yoga, helping and supporting others to find peace, comfort and loving acceptance of their own bodies and life situations.

Tamara discovered AcroYoga in 2008, stepping out of her own mat and exploring the infinite possibilities presented in partner work.
AcroYoga is a partner practice that blends the wisdom of yoga, the dynamic power of acrobatics, and the loving kindness of Thai Massage. It cultivates trust, playfulness, and community, while building strength, balance and flexibility. Typically practiced in teams of three where each one takes turns basing, flying and spotting; empowering each other to reach new heights and celebrate the joy of embodiment.

Tamara has been trained by the best Yoga teachers in the San Fransisco Bay area, including Janet Stone, Sianna Sherman, Kia Meaux, and Jenny Sauer-Klein and Jason Nemer from
