I am the founder of the Chilled Out Child Meditation and Mindfulness teacher training programme and I teach yoga, meditation and mindfulness workshops in London, Kent and , in the UK. YOGAHOME focuses on working with parents whose children are ADD/ADHD and/or on the autistic spectrum and children who are highly sensitive.
I have a passion for complementary health and fitness and completed a certification in personal fitness training and qualified as a Reebok Fitkid Instructor for children. I started practicing yoga and meditation at the Sivananda Yoga Centre, Putney in 2001 whilst living in London.
I have also studied two children’s yoga teacher training qualifications, the ReConnected kids yoga programme and completed meditation qualifications leading to my becoming a Child Meditation and Guided Imagery Specialist for children, a Transformation Meditation teacher for adults and a mindful living meditation instructor. I have also completed my Hatha Yoga Teacher Training Certification and am accredited as a yoga teacher with the Yoga Alliance International (300 hours). I more recently completed a training to enable me to work as an ADHD "LivingADDventure" facilitator for children and families.
I specialise in family yoga, meditation and mindfulness training for use at home as well as "mum and me" sessions to help bring about calm, clarity and connection to family life. If you are new to yoga, you will enjoy the YOGAHOME five week introduction to yoga, meditation and mindfulness in the comfort of your own home. No need to worry about attending your first public yoga class at a studio. You will be well prepared.
