Wandering Monkey Yoga offers a variety of classes and events in Kwa-Zulu Natal. Tanita Lessing is one of the first teachers to offer regular Budokon Yoga Classes in Durban. A contemporary style of yoga & mixed movement arts, that allows students to focus on strength & agility while building awareness & connection between body & mind.

If you enjoy the outdoors as much as us, then come along to our Pop-Up classes. Often held in beautiful locations, these classes are fun and light-hearted; a perfect workout for your mind, body & soul.
Budokon Yoga
Budokon is a unique training system that infuses traditional yoga postures and meditation with martial arts transitions. The classes are designed to improve mobility, agility, flexibility & strength.

Yoga that leaves you feeling whole

Nothing beats rolling out my yoga mat at the Beautiful Durban Botanic Gardens for Tanitas class on a Sunday morning. What a special and spiritual way to connect with Nature - Spirit - Self -and Others who appreciate nature and yoga! Also so lovely to meditate with the birds singing -insects buzzing - sounds of children laughing.... The perfect place to come back into the present moment !

Incredible Focused Experience

Tanita's workshop which covered Ashtanga yoga was a great experience. The time flew by, we all got so much out of it. The workout was amazing, the meditation at the end was deep and easy. Although we were all sweating, we felt so refreshed afterwards. Muscles were really worked, we all felt it on the Monday. A good hurt :) I have recommended Tanita's classes to friends and continue to do her class in the Botanical Gardens on a Sunday. Tanita, works with each person on their poses while she quietly moves around the class. There is an equal amount of demonstration and explaination in the workshop which is great if its your first time or first experience with Ashtanga Yoga.
