Tanja's path of Self discovery started with reading philosophy books as a teenage. She come across Yoga philosophy and Ayurveda and soon after started with Hatha yoga practicies.
Since 2001, she immersed herself in studies of different healing modalities such are Core Energetics, 5 Rhytams dance, Rebirthing, kriya yoga, Pilates, Vipassana meditation intensives and different massage techniques.
In 2005 she met two teachers that made significant influence on her approach to practice and further yoga studies. Swami Brahmajnanananda showed her a broad spectrum of yoga practicies and directed her studies mostly towards the lineage of Sri Ramakrishna and Sri Ramana Maharshi. David Williams, a pioneer of Ashtanga Vinyasa system introduced her a practice, which immediately became her main passion.
She received 200 hours certification for teaching at Gaia Yoga School 2009.
After that she was extensively traveling around Asia. She was Yogi-nomad teacher's assistent at 350h ttc in Nepal and main teacher at Oceanic yoga and Nisarga yoga teacher training in Goa.
Past years she studied a bit of Anatomy trains, Feldenkrais method and is taking part in 300h Tantra flow yoga with Jeanne Heileman.
Tanja is emphasising mindfulnes with fluidity in her teaching. Her practice have elements of different yoga traditions. Tanja believes that everyone is unique and it should be respected in yoga practice.
She is qualified in Physiotherapy from University of Applied Health Studies, Zagreb, Croatia and Yumeiho therapy from International Institut for Practical Preventive Medicine, Tokio, Japan. Being a physiotherapist by profession and with an extensive knowledge on anatomy and kinesiology therefore defines her teaching methods safe, individulised and therapeutic.
