Tanya has been practicing yoga for over 15 years and has been teaching her own students since 2004. Tanya was initially drawn to yoga to help balance a stressful corporate career. Along the way she found the practice gave her some valuable tools and techniques to help with everyday life.
Tanya believes yoga can help create more mindfulness in an environment where you are open to relax and learn. You can then apply those lessons off the mat where it counts. It is this awareness that helps us make better choices and become better people. What we consciously choose creates the life we live.
Tanya’s intention is to empower students to confidently adjust their practice to suit their individual needs.
Tanya teachers a flowing class focusing on moving with breath to access more power and stretch in each posture. Class is slowed down with alignment cues to keep the class safe and for efficient activation of your muscles.
The classes have variety to work different parts of your body and variations offered so you can adjust the level of your practice.
