She’s taught yoga to women and children throughout her travels in Central America, Asia and the South Pacific. She has also worked with women in recovery from substance abuse, HIV patients, and At-Risk Youth.

Tara recognizes the teacher in each being, and is grateful to have studied with Don and Amba Stapleton, Kristin Cooper-Gulak, and also with Seanne Corn, Hala Khouri and Suzanne Sterling. She is trained in Ayurveda, Advanced Pranayam, Thai Yoga Massage, Acro Yoga, and Childlight Kids Yoga.

Yoga is not only a lifestyle for Tara, but also a practice of service both on and off her mat. She encourages her students to find their own authentic voices with the intention of empowering them to be conscious and compassionate activists of social change.
