I began yoga after finishing high-school, and continued to attend regular classes throughout my university degree. After finishing my studies I then went to India to study yoga with some of Iyengar's senior teachers in the Himalayas and then returned to the UK to begin my teacher training. I taught for many years in both Bristol and London before moving to Spain and setting up my own yoga studio in the mountains outside of Madrid. My style has changed over the years and has grown to include a lot of mantra, meditation, and listening to the inner guru rather than the outer. A strong Iyengar base has rooted my teaching in alignment and observation, but I aim to imbue my classes with warmth, softness and developing self-awareness rather than the didactic style so often seen in Iyengar classes.
