Tarini has had a relationship with yoga since 2000 when she took her first Anusara yoga class from Christina Sell. It was love at first Anjali Mudra! As with any enduring love relationship, Tarini's yoga practice has passed through infatuation, companionship, conflict and into maturity, and authenticity.
As a recovered athletics addict with ten years as a certified aerobics instructor/personal trainer, a runner and A-type personality, she developed arthritis of the spine. This discovery ushered-in the end to her impact athletics and a healing journey. A lifetime lover of botanical medicine, a devotion to meditation and her yoga of self-study, she is exploring the mind-body connection to living both with and beyond pain. July of 2015 she received her RYT 200 certification through Integrated Yoga Therapy with Liz Heffernan and Molly Masaoka of Soma Yoga Institute.
A twenty-year student and devotee of a Bhakti yoga path informs her life of practice and her teaching style with clarity, inspiration and humor. She teaches alignment-based, Therapeutic, Gentle Flow and Restorative yoga.
