Hi, I'm Taylor. My dharma is to hold a nurturing and creative space for healing and self-exploration. I have personally been practicing yoga for over 11 years, utilizing my practice as a coping mechanism to manage stress and heal from within regardless of external circumstances. I was inspired to train with a traditional school of yoga in order to share the incredible benefits of meditation and yoga with others. I spent three months fully immersing myself at Shri Kali Ashram in Thailand, which included in-depth study and practice of Traditional Tantra, Vedic Philosophy, Ayurveda, Sanskrit, Yoga and Massage.
The aim of this style of yoga is to balance our internal system through a methodical combination of asanas (postures), pranayama (breathwork) and philosophy - leading to achieved relaxation on and off your mat. Together we will journey to cultivate meditation, flexibility, strength, body awareness, patience, compassion, creativity and vital energy flow, among many other byproducts of yoga.
As we relax the nervous system, our subconscious mind takes precedence allowing for our return to the zero state, or simply put our essential selves. Through continued practice, we become reset by Tantric metaphysics and open up to achieving a wholesome life culture by dropping what we don't need. This yoga is a space for total freedom and expression of self, as we develop a culture of mastery and flow rather than stress and struggle.
