Recently finished my Kundalini Yoga for Real Life teacher training with Maya Fiennes! Certified and signed up with Yoga Alliance Professionals.
The yoga I teach is Maya's Yoga for Real Life. Based on Yogi Bhajan's teachings for kundalini yoga, it creates a union with the mind, body and spirit, and at the same time integrates into our everyday lives.

Before I became a yoga teacher, I practiced yoga for a number of years, mainly from Maya Fiennes' DVDs, but also on retreats and workshops led by her. That I practice what I believe to be the most esoteric of yoga forms has come as a surprise to me, and it is to be credited to the way Maya teaches and passes on the method that I was drawn in by it so thoroughly. In my early years, yoga was the last thing on my mind; karate, alpine hiking, rock climbing, and paragliding were the more adventurous sports that got me going. A crash with my paraglider a few years ago put a preliminary end to my mobility. I was extremely lucky and 'only' broke my knee, but it would still take me two years to fully recover. At a loss for things to do with my spare time, I turned to yoga, and it has become an integral part of my life.

Kundalini yoga has become much more to me than just a means to exercise my body. It brings balance and flow to my entire life. I have rediscovered my spirituality in the most down-to-earth way. This is something that I want to share with you.
