Every weekday morning you can find my classes, round the calendar, at West River Yoga Studio.
Classes are gentle, designed to give you an all-over practice in strengthening, stretching, and balancing poses. You will be encouraged to coordinate your breath with your movements, and to make it part of your practice to deeply honor your body's individuality.
My Beginner classes are appropriate for absolute beginners; we do fewer poses and more talking about each pose.
Gentle class is the next step, with more poses and less talking, and always the same emphasis on staying within your safety zone.
Intermediate is for those with a moderate practice who can get into asanas with little instruction and like to be challenged, within their safety zone.
I welcome you to my classes, in whatever shape you're in. Please email me if you're interested in attending. Drop-ins are welcome, as available. The class is limited to 8 students.
I'm a 500-hour teacher registered with Yoga Alliance since 2011 with more than 1500 hours teaching experience. My teacher is Scott Willis, of Hits the Spot Yoga®, with whom I've taken yoga classes for 25 years and with whom I did my teacher trainings.
