I believe that wellness is acquired by living each day in the best
way you can and making choices that serve you well. The combination of daily exercise, a positive mind-set and healthy nutrition all add up to wellness.
As a 46-year-old mother of 2, I recognize the challenges of balancing work and family… keeping fit has been my saving grace. I get immense gratification in knowing that I make a difference in people's lives and inspire them to feel better about themselves.
In addition to having a BS in Exercise Physiology/Nutrition, I have over 20 years experience as a yoga instructor.
~~My Yoga training includes traditional Hatha, Vinyasa, Anusara, Restorative/Yoga Therapy and Kundalini. My classes combine the physical practice of yoga with meditation and inspiring affirmations with the intent to strengthen not only the body, but the mind and spirit as well.
Yoga encourages us to approach our lives with understanding and grace.
This is what I have experienced and this is what I
This has profoundly influenced me as a trainer and my approach to training emphasizes the body-mind connection. This is especially beneficial in my work with athletes.
Encouraging others to find the balance and joy that good health and fitness can bring into their daily lives is my way of showing gratitude for everything that I have attained during my own personal journey.
