Thaedra is an experienced, compassionate teacher with a strong commitment to learning through self practice, life experience and ongoing guidance from her teachers. Thaedra's teaching method is earthy and intuitive. She holds the space and connects with students so they receive exactly what they need. Thaedra's teaching draws on her experience in Hatha yoga in the Ashtanga and Iyengar traditions as well as her background in classical dance and her explorations through self practice, somatic practices and biodynamic craniosacral therapy. She takes a creative and intuitive approach to each class and aims to assist each individual to relax and find their own practice. Thaedra is passionate about guiding students to reconnect with themselves at their core, exploring the felt sense and inviting a deeper awareness and love of their body and greater trust in intuition. Thaedra’s classes encourage strength, flexibility and balance in the mind and body and support self-healing.
Thaedra is grateful for the influence and wisdom of her yoga mentors and students, past and present particularly Ros Dennett, Matthew Sweeney, Moksha (Regi Clarence), Njala Sankhulani, Dominique Santana Salerno and Simon Borg-Olivier.
