My very first memory of yoga was, when I was 9yrs old. I discovered a book in my father's library "Yoga for Women" that was written and published in the 1960's, and then I tried a few poses and would never have thought that one day I will become a yoga teacher myself ;-)

In 2002 I stared to attend my very first yoga classes at Crawford College in Pretoria, we practised in a small dusty theatre that the drama students used from time to time. This was only for a year or so, then one day the classes just stopped.

In 2005 a good friend of my then boyfriend-today my husband's, handed us a pamphlet, when we bumped into him at a internet cafe and said: "we should " I took yoga classes for a year at Dirk Viljoen's Yoga Studio in Montana called "Yoga Connection" and it was he that encouraged me to become a yoga teacher, and so I did.

In 2006 I did my year long Teacher Training Course, and already started to teach at the same studio since August 2006, and never looked back.

Started my own very small yoga studio in 2007 from my parents’ house in Queenswood. Moved to my own place in Rietfontein, Pretoria and continued with my small yoga studio up and till October 2014 when my husband and I expanded the studio and made it bigger and much much better, and still going strong. Currently I teach 12 yoga classes a week and hosting a few yoga events from time to time.

Love my Job, Love my Yoga.
