Therese teaches an alignment-focused class, encouraging and supporting her students to listen to their inner teacher in regards to what is the best for their body. She also has focus on breathing. The breath is the connection between the body and the mind and through breathing we can work towards strengthening and balancing them both. Her own practice is some days physical and challenging, and other days a slower paced restorative practice.
The core of her teaching is rooted in VINI Yoga, yoga customized for each individual. Her special interest is to make sense out of yoga for her students. Yoga should be fun and safe and feel right for each persons body. Therese believes that knowing how work with and adjust a pose is the core to that.
