Tiana discovered yoga in 2000 and has been practicing ever since. Her love for yoga drove her to deepen her practice by completing a 200-hour yoga certification with Core Power Yoga. Tiana is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance. Yoga truly changed Tiana's life by the practice of pranayama (extension of the breath). Working in the world of finance brought major stress and anxiety to her life. Unusual weight gain, fatigue, and loss of breath control began to take over her well being. Tiana returned to her yoga mat and practiced simply breathing, cultivated the ability to become fully aware and present, and allowed the breath to navigate her through life's challenges, on and off the mat. This positive transformation of the body, mind, and spirit continuously inspires her in her practice and her teaching.
