My first yoga practice was actually part of my first martial arts class in 1977. For the longest time, I thought the workout began after the yoga warm-up. By 1990, I began to see yoga in a different light. I found in yoga practice what I had found in swimming but rarely found in martial arts forms. Soon thereafter, I found yoga in forms too. Then I began to find yoga in life. That is when I realized the value of yoga practice to all things and began to teach the practice as a catalyst for life balance. I have sought and obtained formal instruction from my teachers and trusted brothers and sisters. Aside from my private practice, I offer power yoga and blended yoga / martial arts classes to the fearless. I have been the primary yoga teacher for United Health's Starlight Yoga/MMA Program and the Stonington Institute Groton Campus since 2011.
