Tova offers a light-hearted but grounded vinyasa practice with an emphasis on Anusara alignment principles. She believes that yoga welcomes our whole being on to the mat whether we feel cheerful, cantankerous, fit, sad, out of shape, angry, or silly. The mat is impartial and can teach us how to love and accept ourselves just the way we are.
For many years, Tova experienced a form of post traumatic stress disorder and chronic low level depression. “Yoga helped me back into my body and gave me the tools to heal. I found my feet, my heart, and my voice again. Words cannot express the gratitude I feel to be able to give some of that back," she said. Tova received her 200-hour yoga teacher certification from Kaya Yoga in Davis, California in 2011.
