Tracey Wood,RYT 200, has been passionately practicing ashtanga and vinyasa yoga since 2000. She finds yoga is a source of strength and serenity on and off the mat. Tracey finds yoga physically challenging and mentally and spiritually empowering. Yoga gives Tracey balance, keeping her grounded yet flexible enough to go with the flow of life. Being a mother of 4 and a master gardener, Tracey is a nurturer by nature so the call to teach and share yoga was strong. The seed of yoga is the breath. We plant the seed, witness the breath, live in the present, and then the body, mind and soul are tended, nourished and will flourish.
In 2009 Tracey completed her Yoga Alliance 200 hour certification and continues to develop her practice and teaching by participating in numerous workshops with renowned yoga teachers Tim Miller, Tias Little, David Garrigues, Lino Miele and Max Strom, Richard Freeman and David Roche. In 2012 Tracey received her 40hour certification in adjustment training with David Swenson.
Through her dedicated practice and teaching Tracey encourages her students to explore both body and mind through her joyful, fun and dynamic classes that marry breath and movement to groovy music. With emphasize on breath, proper alignment and nurturing adjustments, Tracey inspires her students to explore one’s inner self, cultivate the interconnectedness we all share and to go with the flow.
