I help people facing obstacles take back their life through yoga and yoga therapy. I myself was born with muscular dystrophy and spent much of my childhood and teen years in a wheelchair and on crutches. Now, yoga is not a panacea, but it can be a very useful tool in dealing with physical limitations, chronic disease and chronic pain. I started going yoga personally at the age of 19, so for nearly 30 years now, and after years and years of personal practice, had the calling to teach. I have since been certified in five different types of yoga. I believe in taking a person's personal needs into account, and adjusted postures and practices accordingly, instead of having the person try to fit the yoga.
