I discovered yoga in 2000 after attending a hot yoga class. I LOVED yoga and was hooked. I took classes whenever I could and learned as much as possible on my own. As an avid runner and cyclist, yoga allowed me the opportunity to stop and breathe.
In 2011, I finally decided to enroll in a 200 hour teacher training in Mount Shasta, CA: Vajra Pani Teacher Training. It was there, guided by Amy Cooper and Mona Therese Winston where I learned to how to marry an alignment-centered practice with a vinyasa practice.
My teaching method is gentle. I enjoy focusing on proper body alignment that will eventually aid athletes in finding greater satisfaction in their sport of choice.
