My yoga journey has been a slow and steady build, which began over 10 years ago. One day I wandered into a power yoga class and became hooked on the blending of breath and movement in dynamic, challenging flows. On the mat I feel completely alive, empowered and unstoppable. Yoga gives me the sense of strength and ease while feeling energized and calm at the same time.

In May 2010, I traveled to the Philippines to complete my vinyasa yoga teacher training with Greenpath Yoga and have been teaching ever since. I come to my mat every day with no expectations, no attachments and a playful curiosity. As a teacher I try to incorporate this playfulness into my sequences using fun music and a positive attitude, always encouraging my students to find the joy in their practice while still challenging themselves!

I have been blessed to have the opportunity to practice and teach at many wonderful studios, with amazing teachers and am always thrilled to share my love of yoga with new people.

In early 2016, I co-founded a yoga retreat company called Ananda Yoga Retreats with fellow yogi and intention seeker, Jen Charlton. We are very excited to launch this endeavour with an amazing yoga scuba retreat in beautiful Honduras in June 2016! Check out:
