I had the very good fortune to study Yoga in India under the direction of "Shuba", a warm, gentle, compassionate yogini. Through her, my Yoga philosophy blossomed into a belief that Yoga is more than just "on the mat" and is for everyone; all walks of life, young, old, healthy, ailing, flexible and not flexible.
Yoga is accessible to all and can be tailored to your needs wherever you are. This has motivated me to offer yoga in your home, anytime of day so that it fits in with your lifestyle and demands. What better way to start your morning off than with a personalized yoga practice! If that is not for you, and you would like to get out of the house and come to a class, small or large, this is also available. Rates can be adjusted so that everyone can have equal access to classes. I believe that if more people practice Yoga, the better off the world is!
I have lived in India for 12 years and have returned to my home, Halifax recently. While in India, I also studied chanting, which I offer if you have an interest in learning.
I had the good fortune to do my Yoga Teacher Training in Dharamsala, Himalayas with Trimurti Yoga. My areas of pure enjoyment for teaching others comes from Hatha, Yin and guided meditation.
