Tyler has completed a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) in Hatha Yoga and Positive Psychology and a 220 hour Level 1 YTT in Kundalini Yoga with the Kundalini Research Institute. Tyler’s yogic path follows that of non-dual Śaiva Tantra (Tantrik Śaivism). He has completed the Tantrika Institute course, Foundations of Tantrik Yoga: An Introduction to Classical Tantra, as taught by the Trika and Krema lineages dating back 1,000 years to the Kashmir region of India.
Tyler began practicing mindfulness meditation in 1998, and after experiencing the immense benefits, started to explore various yoga disciplines in philosophy and practice. A scientific background led him along a path where science and spirituality merge. Thus, he was naturally drawn to Kundalini Yoga as it has been described as the science of angles and triangles. Tyler evokes crystal singing bowls as a sound healing modality and is dedicated to further understanding and practice of various yogic traditions to serve his highest self and others on their journey.
