TYMI HOWARD is a lover of God, Life and Yoga! Committed to inspiring people to discover their purpose through the art of yoga. She is the Owner and Director of Guruv Yoga Studios in Central Florida. Tymi is a Certified Yoga Instructor at the 500 E-RYT level with Yoga Alliance, and is known in the yoga community as a skillful practitioner, and a dynamic, non-dogmatic, playful teacher! Leading ROCKIN Vinyasa Flow classes, workshops, retreats and Yoga Teacher Trainings is how she dedicates herself to spreading the transformational gift of yoga! She is a presenter at several conferences and festivals including Yoga Journal, Midwest Yoga Conference, Bhakti Fest, Texas Yoga Conference, Rasa Lila Fest, Scottsdale Yoga Festival,on Staff with Access Broadway, she is an Ambassador for lululemon, BOGA Paddleboards, Tiny Devotions, Yoga Gangsters and Yoga Recipe.

Her introduction to yoga began in NYC in 1993 after years as a professional ballet dancer and several nagging injuries, she found her way into an Ashtanga class… what a humbling, yet magical experience! It wasn’t until she moved to California years later that she began to seek out this “yogic lifestyle” and embrace it mind, body and SOUL. Receiving her BA in Theatre and Dance from Rollins College and MA from NYU/ Circle in the Square, she has been influenced by so many gifted teachers and friends in dance, yoga, health & fitness and LIFE! She gives thanks for each of them and hopes that she can be a vessel through which God’s Grace and gifts may a student~ <3
