I like books and bikes and gardens and R&B. I write and I illustrate, work part-time at an emergency homeless shelter and do a whole whack of schoolin' on the side. I teach somatic yoga, a practice which primarily focuses on experiencing the body from within. It's a blend of hatha and kundalini, with lots of emphasis on shakin' things up so that stagnant or negative energy (emotions, aches, pains, patterns) can be released. I play R&B and hip hop because soul music is inspiring and empowering.
