I have been playing with yoga for over 25 years, Iyengar style to begin with. And from the start yoga made me feel great and confident in my body.
Then, after I had moved from Berlin to Beara, West Cork in Ireland, I met a teacher who introduced me to Scaravelli yoga, and since then I'm hooked. I completed a teacher training with Bill Wood in Bristol, and I'm teaching Scaravelli inspired yoga in Dublin and other Irish locations for the last 4 years.
This way of approaching asanas is all about gravity, breath and a freedom of movement that originates deep in the body. It's about relaxing so that we can move with it is mindful, slow,
It increases flexibility, strength and calmness, energises and brings a great sense of ' wow, I didn't know I can feel so light and strong'
I learn the most from the skillful touch of my teachers, and hands-on is how I like to support my students.
