Very often Yoga is only understood as being limited to asanas (the yoga poses). Its benefits are therefore only perceived to be at the body level and we fail to realize the immense benefits yoga offers in uniting the body, mind and breath. In my opinion yoga challenges you to look within. Yoga is something that I can tap into to understand where I am at right now, what challenges I am avoiding, what I can do without and what goals and objects I should move towards. Practicing Yoga allows us to become more and more self aware - not only on a physical level. I have learned to accept myself more and I want to share that with other people.
