I am a certified yoga teacher and the founder of Prana Yoga. I am classically trained in the practice of Hatha Yoga. My teaching is inspired by many traditions including Hatha, Vinyasa Flow, Restorative & Yin Yoga. I graduated from the YTTC RYT200 teacher training programme in 2012. I furthered my studies in 2014 by completing a Yin Yoga Teacher Training with Josh Summers. I am currently pursuing further Core Strength Vinyasa Yoga Training. I am passionate about continuously expanding and deepening my understanding of yoga on a physical and meditative level. I continue to attend regular classes and workshops to sharpen my teaching skills and deepen my practice. I have had the privilege of attending workshops and immersions with world renowned yoga practitioners and somatic movement experts including Liz Koch, BJ Galvan, Tiffany Cruikshank, Meghan Currie and Jason Crandell.
As a qualified lawyer who has recently transitioned into full time teaching, I am acutely aware of the toll that modern-day life can have on the body and mind. My classes are adapted to real life, all the while strongly rooted in yogic tradition. Regular practice on and off the mat empowers us to transform our lives on a physical, mental and emotional level.
I offer each student time, space and energy to develop a practice that for them. I focus on flowing sequences, healthy alignment, therapeutic instruction and encourage students to smile.
