I was born in Caracas, Venezuela to a family that believed in raising their children with an appreciation and nurturing of the body, mind and soul.
My yoga journey started over ten years ago. After practicing for eight years, I decided to make a major commitment to my practice, researched the training possibilities and moved to Asheville to enroll in an intensive, nine-month certification program with the Asheville Yoga Center, during which time I practiced many different styles of yoga and immersed myself in yoga literature and theory. In 2011 I completed the 240 RYT and have been certified with the Yoga Alliance.
I have been blessed to be a part of the great community of teachers in Brevard and Asheville. My supportive nature reflects my yoga style, where I like to create a safe environment for the students to explore and grow in their own practice. For me yoga is ultimately an outlook and approach to living that extends into all areas of life, compelling one to live in a more moralistic and ethical way, in a manner that is consistent with natural laws and in harmony with the world around us.
