“Do what you Love.” In 2004, Atma, (AKA Vilma Galindo) discovered Yoga as a tool to start enjoying life and learnt that it only takes a smile and a deep breath to be happy and joyful. Her path, like of her mentors, is one of a daily practice, self-exploration, and the desire to share the blessings of Yoga and Meditation.
She is also a Reiki Master and an Intuitive Healer.
Atma got certified as a Prana Yoga Teacher from the New York Open Center.
In January 2012 Atma traveled to India where she was initiated as a healer by Paramahamsa Nithyananda, and got her spiritual name that means "Soulful femenine energy of Shiva".
Atma's passion for travel and learning has allowed her to discover Yoga and spirituality around the world. Her teaching style is inspirational, compassionate and engaging. It incorporates both physical and spiritual aspects to encourage self-awareness and self-observation both on and off the mat, allowing for the cultivation of happiness for yourself and those around you.
She incorporates a little of each Yoga discipline (Prana, Hatha, Kundalini, Vinyasa) to create her own blend in order to bring a fun, comprehensive, and relaxing Yoga class, designed for all experience levels.
