Wendy has her own studio in Starnberg (20 minutes south of Munich) and teaches 8 classes a week. Her classes offer students a challenging yet nurturing experience of connecting more deeply with body, mind and heart. Wendy's classes incorporate clear alignment principles with full-hearted themes that help each individual student cultivate mindfulness and self-awareness, both on and off the mat. Her classes are welcoming, fun, and engaging. They include meditation and pranayama (yogic breathing) to offer students a well-balanced and grounding practice. She teaches a vinyasa flow style and all levels are welcome.
Wendy was first introduced to yoga in 2002 after the birth of her 3rd child and since then has had a dedicated practice. She began teaching yoga in 2009 after completing a 200 hour teacher training in Bali at Radiantly Alive with Daniel Aaron. She then completed her second 300 hour training certification in Munich at AirYoga with Christine May and Stephen Thomas. Both trainings are recognized by Yoga Alliance which makes Wendy a 500 hour registered yoga teacher.
In my own words…
For me, yoga is an evolving and transformational practice. It is an ever-deepening understanding of myself, my experiences, and the world around me that is empowering and meaningful. Yoga has been one of my life’s greatest gifts. It helps me to embrace the challenges of life as opportunities for new growth and learning, and it helps me to celebrate more fully the richness and abundance that I am so fortunate to be a part of.
