My passion is sharing the deliciousness of Yin and iRest® Yoga Nidra, and the flowing freedom of slow mindful Vinyasa. My Yin style is influenced by my work as an acupuncturist, guiding a meditative class designed to invite your fascia to melt, with the occasional added bonus of self-acupressure to recuperate and reinvigorate. My Vinyasa focus is building a strong foundational practice from which to energise and empower your internal resources.
With a committed Yoga practice for the past 11-years (19-years for Pilates), I am grateful for the opportunity to pursue a doctorate in Yoga 'off the mat' with AUT, exploring yoga and health habits. I continue to explore the world of iRest® Yoga Nidra; learning and delving deeper beyond Level 2 into Certification. I am also trained in Pilates (reformer/mat) and my teaching and acupuncture practice is informed by a physiotherapy background.
