I'm a mum, a yoga teacher, always a yoga student, and a studio owner. I love vegan food, champagne and chocolate. I teach all kinds of yoga: vinyasa, pre-natal, post-natal, baby yoga, gentle chair class, Yin yoga, and restorative yoga. I'm a bit of a wild girl. I love my job and all my students. I love my life! My deepest believe is that living kindly is the only way to live.

Wendy's classes are good fun and whilst being popular I always feel that she takes time to give you individual attention. I initially had one to one lessons with her and feel that this made a huge impact on my recovery from a breathing illness. Wendy is very knowledgeable and sincere and I feel her classes reflect this.

Wendy is very inspirational

I am quite new yoga, but Wendy has made it so interesting and challenging. She explains the poses in detail and even give out a variety of alternative poses if you are unable to reach the full pose. She makes each class varied and fun with her great personality. Having trouble with my back has sometimes limited doing some of the poses but Wendy has helped both through the class by offering different poses to do to help and also with poses I can achieve at home to relieve my back pain. I enjoy every class with Wendy and look forward to progressing further with her.

Wendy accelerates learning!

Since Wendy has become my main yoga teacher, my ability has progressed faster than at any other time since I began practising. Her detailed explanations and unpicking of the poses really helps my understanding of what is needed to get into the positions in the most efficient and effective way. I have seen the confidence grow in all of her students, particularly those inexperienced or beginners. Wendy always offers alternative positions if individuals can't get into the poses at that time. I also feel that she always has the safety of her students at the centre of all of her sessions; it's important to feel confident when trying new things out! Wendy has a great sense of humour and her classes are always fun!

Thank you very much, John. Your dedication to your practice is the magic that takes you deeper into your yoga! Ok, I might have given you a few tips but your commitment and hard work are the key ingredients. Keep up the good work.

Flexible Wendy - in so many ways

I'm relatively new to yoga and to Wendy's classes. After knee surgery I needed to find new ways of keeping fit and improving my flexibility that would not lead to further injuries, but that were also physically challenging. Wendy's classes fit the bill. She is mindful of my physical limitations and always has an alternative suggestion on hand that doesn't detract from the challenge. Her classes are fun and stimulating for those who like their yoga a bit more challenging than just relaxation.

A BREATH OF FRESH AIR

One of Wendy's strengths - and she has many - is her extensive knowledge, understanding and sharing of Anatomy and physiology. She peppers her lessons with easy to understand explanations of what is happening in your body and how/why the pose is assisting. I learn a lot from her every time I am in her presence. Totally recommend her classes. They stretch you and help you go deeper in your yoga.

Wendy is amazing!

I love Wendy's classes. She can encourage and challenge her students, whatever their ability. Her instructions are clear and thorough. There are always options for different levels of student. She always ensures her students practise safely and are protected from injury. She also makes yoga fun!

Brilliant!

I have only been going to Wendy's class for a couple of months but I am really enjoying it and feel I have discovered a whole, new side of Yoga. Previously, I was just practising at home with a dvd. I am very shy but Wendy has made me feel very welcome in her class. I especially love her Core Strength Vinyasa class, on a Thursday. Wendy is an amazing teacher and is always there to give modifications, no matter what level you are! I have Scoliosis, so some asanas are just not possible for me and if that is the case, I am given an alternative. If you live in and around Matlock, come and see for yourself!
