Whitney started her journey into yoga 3 years ago. She was suffering from lower back pain and wanted a way to increase strength while also maintaining flexibility. As a Licensed Psychologist, Whitney was pleasantly surprised at the mental health benefits that accompanied the physical benefits of her yoga practice. Whitney believes that there are things that you can learn on your mat that you may never learn by talking about it. She embraces the idea that our minds and our bodies are inextricably tied together. If you take care of your body, your mind will be healthier. If you take care of your mind, your body will be healthier.
