I'm Yanna and I teach Ashtanga Vinyasa for beginners in London. I also organise workshops and yoga retreats in Greece and New Zealand for those who wish to immerse and deepen their yoga practice.
I have completed two yoga teacher trainings: one in 2010 (200h) and another in 2016 (500h) both in New Zealand, both in Ashtanga in the tradition of the late Sri K. Pattabhi Jois.
I love to adapt yoga to meet individual needs so that the practice is enjoyable and fun. This can result in a blend of yoga postures, strength & flexibility exercises & meditation.
My experience and fascination with movement from yoga, dance, running and mountaineering has developed in me a sensitivity and openess in approach which enables me to create a custom practice that is sustainable, rewarding and satisfying.
For those who wish classic Ashtanga training of the Primary series I offer half a day and full day workshops and week long retreats on the Greek islands. Check out my upcoming schedule.
