I have been a devoted yoga practitioner for 15 years and a humble teacher since 2014. I trained with YogaCampus in London, choosing them for their approach of looking simultaneously to the rich traditions of yoga whilst refining the practice for the here and now. Since graduating I have become ever more in awed at the power of yoga to meet students where they are in any given moment and life circumstance- to build strength, flexibility and focus in both body and mind.
Over time my focus has been drawn to the quieter, restorative practices which in their simplicity offer a soothing space of refuge from the over stimulating nature of modern life, practices of ‘un doing’ which reveal a sense of inner balance and wellbeing.
I am a Level 1 Relax and Renew teacher, having trained in Restorative yoga with Judith Hanson Lasater, I have also studied the profoundly relaxing technique of Yoga Nidra with Uma Dinsmore Tuli and Nirlipta Tuli.
I have a deep interest in the way yoga practice can transform and support us off the mat across all areas of our life, within family and within community. For sparking that interest and for continuous inspiration I thank my teachers Michael Stone and Judith Hanson Lasater.
Within my classes my intention is always to offer a safe and supportive space to allow you as a student, your own authentic experience of yoga.
