Zoe is an Ashtanga yoga teacher based in Lymington, Hampshire. Zoe is a Yoga Alliance Professionals Chartered Teacher.

Like most things, Zoë discovered yoga by total chance in 2009 and fell in love with it. She decided the best way to immerse herself was to become a teacher to continually school herself and others in the path of Ashtanga Yoga. Zoë trained with the renowned Brian Cooper and continues to consider herself a student of Yoga first and foremost.

Ashtanga with Zoë is a wonderfully dynamic practice! Taught in classical sequence encompassing: physical Asana practice with Bandhas, philosophy, chanting and breath work. Zoë is a free spirit with a love for body art and spiritualism. Join her on the mat for a heady, vigorous Yoga practice coupled with soft, beautiful chanting and feel the magic flood the mind during relaxation afterwards.

Fantastic tutor and class!!

I've been doing yoga on and off for 20 years and Zoe is by far the best tutor I've had! Just the right amount of hands on adjustments, good balance between the physical and spiritual sides of yoga and very relaxed, friendly and welcoming classes. Can't recommend highly enough!

Backbends Workshop

This was the first ever workshop I'd attended and I was really impressed! Zoe covered lots of techniques and gave us some handy tips. It was a great, relaxed atmosphere and I will definitely book future workshops!

Inspiring intro into intermediate back bends

Excellent explanation of applied physiology and asana. Zoe demonstrates the posture and explains in detail, whilst keeping the momentum of the class going. I am a fan of her workshops as they inspire regular practice.

Ashtanga Yoga at Rustic Retreat 25th Sept. to 2nd Oct. 2014

Excellent week of Ashtanga yoga:
Each morning started with a 2 hour Mysore practice during which Zoe would give individual attention by providing adjustments and advice with asanas whenever they were needed.

She also conducted some really useful themed workshops, (a back bend workshop for example), every afternoon where various asanas were broken down. I found this to be very to be useful in that Zoe would instruct us in the correct way of moving into asanas to achieve the full posture, and also show us alternatives so that we could move towards the full posture over time.
As a result I felt that the week had been very worth while and that I made very good progress with my practice under Zoe's knowledgeable and passionate teaching.
In summary Zoe is obviously very passionate about teaching Ashtanga yoga in the traditional manner, (as it should be taught) and very generous with her time when it comes to passing her knowledge onto her students so that they are also able to enjoy the real and lasting benefits of practising Ashtanga yoga.

Happy to have a found a good yoga teacher

As far as I am aware Zoe is a fairly new teacher (?) but from what I've experienced so far it's all good.. Well led teacher sessions and a really enjoyable workshop means I a can finally resume my ashtanga practice locally. .

Brilliant yoga teacher

I have never done yoga before, so was jubious when I started. Zoe didn't push me too hard or ignore me completely which made me feel comfortable, and I wanted to come back. I now feel I have progressed in my practice more than I thought I would ever, as she keeps recognising my strengths and weaknesses. Pushing me when she knows I can go further, and pulling me back when I try and over do it. Thanks Zoe!
