Monkey Pose

Monkey Pose (also known as Splits, or Front Splits) is an advanced seated posture that provides a deep stretch to the groins and hamstrings. There many variations to work into this pose, using blocks, and blankets but, since this is a deep stretch, the main thing is to not go too far, too quickly. The Sanskrit name of the pose, Hanumanasana, refers to the Hindu god Hanuman, and commemorates his giant leap from India to Sri Lanka.
