Plow Pose


Plow Pose, or Halasana (from the Sanskrit hala: 'plow', and asana: 'posture') is an inversion that stretches the entire spine as well as the shoulders. Beginners often find it useful to practice this pose at the wall if their toes cannot reach the floor. Plow Pose calms the brain, stimulates the abdominal organs, and reduces stress.
