Triangle Pose


Triangle Pose (Trikonasana, from the Sanskrit trikona: 'triangle', and asana: 'posture') is a standing posture that strengthens the arms and legs, stretches the hamstrings and hips, improves balance, and opens the chest and shoulders. Beginners often find a block under the hand useful if it doesn't confortably reach the floor. Triangle Pose has many variations, such as Revolved Triangle, Bound Triangle.
